This year we will be hosting a three-day auction entirely online December 3, 4 and 5! In this time of COVID-19 we cannot all be together to see the items in person, but that does not mean we cannot have wonderful offerings and some on-line time together on auction day. The auction website will include descriptions and photographs and will allow us to place on-line bids for three days!
We would be very grateful if you would begin to think about what you can donate to the auction (and in turn to the church). Since we are mostly in our homes, this is a great time to consider making hand crafted items for the auction (jewelry, scarves, hats, baby items, etc). Many of us are also going through our homes at the moment and might find valuable items to donate. Unfortunately, we will not be able to take in large objects/furniture this year. If in doubt about whether your offering is an item for the auction, as opposed to the rummage sale (which date has not yet been set), please contact Lillian Mashburn email@example.com.
We will also be offering different types of dinners this year, Socially Distanced Dinners (small grouped), Dinners Delivered (dinners delivered to your home) and other on-line food options. Consider what type of dinner you might be willing to offer.
Do you have a workshop or lecture you would like to share over Zoom? Do you have a business for which you would like to offer a certificate? Would you like to create a basket of goodies with a theme? Please put on your thinking caps.
When the auction website opens, information will be sent out about how to input your donations. If you have any questions about the auction or your donations please contact Diane Fox, firstname.lastname@example.org<mailto:email@example.com>, 865-684-9339 or the auction committee firstname.lastname@example.org<mailto:email@example.com>
