Lessons of Loss: An Adult Religious Education Program – 6:30 pm – “To live life is to experience loss.” Whether you are feeling a sense of loss in response to the current political climate, have experienced job loss, divorce, the death of a loved one, or any significant loss, you may find value in this four-week curriculum. Participants will reflect on their personal attitudes toward loss and how our UU theology can comfort us as we grieve. The class will help us begin to clarify our own religious beliefs about loss, growth and life following loss. Together we will create a safe space to explore how we recognize, navigate, and accept loss of all kinds. Contact: Catherine Farmer Loya & Pam Johnson, facilitators.

High School Youth Group – 6:30 pm – High schoolers meet on Wednesday evenings for a youth group that offers a safe and welcoming space for all, rooted in our shared UU values, and offering opportunities for building community, engaging in service, crafting worship, organizing for justice, developing leadership, and celebrating being young and being UU together. This is primarily a youth-driven time and is facilitated by the Youth Program Coordinator and volunteer Youth Advisors.

We then make the rescued plants available for residential and commercial landscaping, with the goal of increasing the overall ecological health of our region.”
