Our Children & Youth RE Volunteers

The TVUUC Religious Exploration Program would not exist without all the wonderful adults who volunteer their time, energy, and gifts to guide our children in the UU Principles. To ensure the safety of our children, all volunteers providing direct care or supervision of children or teens for Sunday morning activities have met the following criteria:

• All have been approved and trained by the DRE.
• All have been an active congregant (member or friend) for at least six months or have references from another UU church that include the minister or RE director.
• All have consented to a background check.
• All understand and have signed a Code of Ethics statement.
• All are at least 16 years old, and one teacher in the room must be at least 25 years old.
• All are at least 5 years older than the oldest child supervised.
