After the Auction
Note: Please do not bring donated items to the church before the auction, unless asked to do so by the Auction Committee.
After the auction closes, you can see who bought your donation. Log into the Auction website with your phone number and PIN. On any page in the auction website, click on My Statement at the top of the page. Under Items Donated, you will see the names and phone numbers of the person(s) who bought your items. If you click on the name, you can send an e-mail. If you need help finding the names of the Buyer(s), contact the Auction Committee.
Because late bids on unsold items will be accepted until 9:00 pm on Sunday, December 11, please check your statement again after that time.
If you have donated a physical item, please contact the buyer as soon as possible to arrange for delivery. You can offer to deliver the item to the person at home, arrange a time to meet at church, or deliver the item to TVUUC on one of the following days:
Monday, December 5 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm
Monday, December 12 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm
If you choose to deliver an item to the church at these times, make sure the winner knows you will do this.
IMPORTANT: Please attach a label securely to the item giving the following information:
- Item Number in the Catalog
- Name and phone number of the Buyer
For Food Items (Goodies to Eat), click here for separate instructions. We normally ask that you arrange for delivery of any food items directly to the Buyer, so we do not have food left in the church. However, the food can be brought to the church on the dates above if you have contacted the buyer and are absolutely sure they will pick it up the next day.
If you have donated a dinner, or other in-person event, remember to contact your successful bidders a week or so before the event to remind them and provide any new information about the event.
After the auction closes, you can see which of your bids have been accepted. After you have logged into the Auction website with your phone number and PIN, on any page in the auction website, click on My Statement at the top of the page. Under Items Purchased, you will see the items you have successfully bid on and the total that you owe. Payment can be made on the TVUUC website under the Give Drop-down Menu, or you can mail or bring a check to TVUCC. Click here for specific payment instructions.
If you have bought a physical item, you can either:
- Pick up the item at TVUUC at one of the following times:
Tuesday, December 6 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm
Tuesday, December 13 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm
IMPORTANT: Check with the donor before coming, to find out if she/he will be taking the item to the church. We also suggest you print a list of the items you have bought and bring it with you to church. This will help us all locate your items.
- Make arrangements directly with the Donor of the item to pick it up or have it delivered to you.
NOTE: We have asked Donors of food items not to bring them to the church unless they have made clear, specific arrangements with the buyer to pick it up the next day. We do not want food items sitting in the church for more than a day.
To find out who donated your item:
- Log into the Auction website.
- Go to the My Statement Screen
- Scroll down to Items Purchased. The Donor’s name will be listed with a phone number. Click on Donor’s name to send an e-mail.
If you need help finding the names of the donor, contact the Auction Committee.
We hope you enjoy your newly purchased items, delivered dinners, events or services!
Unsold Auction Items
If an item is not sold during the auction, or if there are any unsold places left in an event, you can still bid on it! Starting at 3:00 pm on Sunday, December 4, any unsold items will be available at fixed price on the auction site. You will be able to purchase them instantly by bidding the minimum price. Your bid will be accepted and no one else can outbid you. Late bids can be entered until Sunday, December 11 at 9:00 pm. Donors: If you do not want your item sold at fixed price, please contact the Auction Committee before 3:00 on December 4.
Everyone: Thank you for participating in the on-line auction again this year! We hope you had fun! Maybe we will be back in the church again for a traditional auction in 2023! If you still have questions contact the Auction Committee.
