People, including many of us, speak of worries about diminishing freedom and growing repression. This Sunday, in addition to borrowing some ideas from Timothy Snyder’s book “On Freedom,” I’ll be sharing some stories from the civil rights movement which worked creatively for freedom in some horrendously repressive times and places.
