Many of us may have grown up singing the song, “Joshua fought the battle of Jericho, Jericho, Jericho. Joshua fought the battle of Jericho and the walls came a tumbling down.” During the season of Passover we will explore how the story of a violent historic battle has come to serve as a metaphor for nonviolent social change.
