The Overeaters Guide to Lent-In Person and Virtual Worship

Overeaters Anonymous (OA) is one of the many 12 Step recovery programs available to people in need. OA is designed to help people with compulsive eating and other food behaviors that pose a risk to human health. Traditionally the season of Lent has been a time of restraint or doing without. This Sunday we will explore the overconsumption of material things (food, alcohol, chemicals etc.) can never meet our underlying spiritual needs and ask the larger question, “What are we really hungry for?”

Per the CDC, Knox County’s risk level has returned to LOW. No COVID-related restrictions are in place, though masks and vaccination are encouraged.
