A Meditative Service on Warfare-In-Person and Virtual Worship Service-Rev. Gordon Gibson

How does one respond to the reality that around the world there seems to be warfare somewhere all the time? This service will focus not on armaments or arguments but on how one may live in the world that exists. The Rev. Gordon Gibson will share a story from Robert Fulghum and cellist Stacy Nickell will bring us the beautiful music of that story.

(You can watch our worship service streamed at 11 am on our Facebook page https://tinyurl.com/yfx9pnx6, or our website https://tvuuc.org/ and also on our YouTube channel https://tinyurl.com/ycksxc98.)

TVUUC will remain open for in-person Sunday services for the foreseeable future, even though the CDC risk level for Knox County is now High.

The Board of Directors has temporarily modified our current covid policy only with regard to the indoor worship protocol: we will follow the Medium protocol rather than move to the High protocol for Sunday services.

Thus, masks are required at indoor services for those ages 2+, there will be no congregational singing, and no food or drink may be served inside the building. The Lizzie Crozier French room will be available as a designated viewing space for those who would prefer to be in a smaller group. Room A will also be available for families with children who prefer an area where children may play during the service, with masks required for all over the age of two. You may also watch our services online. Please watch for announcements about our covid policy going forward. To view our full COVID-19 policy, please visit https://tinyurl.com/CovidPolicyTVUUC.
