Is honesty always the best policy? In February our minister gave a sermon called Binki Busts Up the Patriarchy. In this Sunday’s sermon he returns to the 236 pages of notes passed to him by his friend Binki Hettel between 1979-1983 while they were both in school and should have been paying attention in class. Binki’s thoughts on the ethics of self-liberation bear some resemblance to those of Abigail Adams, Gloria Steinem and Malcolm X raising the question, “Are most homes ready for the revolution?”
