The Buddha taught that we should have compassion for all sentient beings including those creatures that are hostile to human life. Indigenous people of this continent teach that we should have reverence for all life, the two legged, the four legged, the feathered, the furry and the finned. This Sunday we will explore how to be more gentle even when we are in the midst of the law of the jungle.
