Out of a Mountain of Despair, a Stone of Hope-In-Person and Virtual Worship

Out of a Mountain of Despair, a Stone of Hope – Rev. Lynn Thomas Strauss, Rev. Chris Buice and Dr. Reginald Houze

Former minister Lynn Thomas Strauss and current minister Chris Buice will offer reflections on TVUUC as a community of hope. The Quaker teacher Parker Palmer spends a lot of time helping people to find their vocation in life. In this capacity he notes, “Hopelessness is a bad career choice.” This Sunday we will reflect on what gives us hope when all hope seems lost. Our guest vocalist/musician this morning will be Dr Reginald Houze, our former music director, who will be sharing a different approach to the spiritual,  “Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child” that makes room for hope in the midst of despair.
