Christmas in July, A Music Centered Service-In-Person and Virtual Worship

Astronomers are expecting a new star to brighten September’s night sky but no wise men are predicting a messiah. We are reminded by Howard Thurman that the work of Christmas falls on us. WE must sing the Angels’ songs, watch the flocks, and be the Wise Ones who bear the gifts of healing to the broken, freedom to the prisoner, and peace to the nations. If there is to be music in the heart, we must play and sing it.

Per the CDC, Knox County’s risk level has returned to LOW. No COVID-related restrictions are in place, though masks and vaccination are encouraged.
