Led by the Rev. Gordon Gibson and the Rev. Laura Bogle
It is reported that on the last full day of his life Jesus celebrated companionship and remembrance, an act of faith and resistance in the shadow of the Roman Empire. In this service we will enact our own remembrance, faith, and resistance in the context of today’s empires. We will use spoken word, song, a bread and grape juice/wine communion, and candle-lighting to acknowledge both the ancient story and our continued call to joy and connection in the midst of sorrow and war. All are welcome around the table.
