Journey to Membership

We are so glad you’ve chosen to walk your path with us at TVUUC. Choosing to become a member represents a deeper connection with and commitment to your faith community.
Join with us: Becoming a member
We offer three different meetings during the year that will help you learn about Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church and Unitarian Universalism. This also gives us a chance to get to know you.

Starting Point-An Introduction to the Unitarian Universalist Journey
“The central task of the religious community is to unveil the bonds that bind each to all. There is a connectedness, a relationship discovered amid the particulars of our own lives and the lives of others. Once felt, it inspires us to act for justice.” Rev. Mark Morrison-Reed
Starting Point is a session that is not only for those interested in membership, but also for established members. It offers newcomers, and old timers, an opportunity to explore ways in which Unitarian Universalism can make a difference in their lives. Not only will it help you decide if UUism is right for you, but it’s also an opportunity to reflect on your beliefs and values. All sessions begin are from 1 pm-3 pm, except for the two Zoom Starting Point Sessions which are on Monday nights from 7 pm-9 pm. Please email Mark Mohundro with any questions
