Information for Donors of: Food Delivered, Goodies to Eat

This category is for cakes, cookies, soups, casseroles and other single food items to be delivered to the winner bidder.  It may also include a full meal to be delivered. If, instead, you will host an in-person Dinner or other meal in your home or other location, see In-Person Event Donor Instructions.

If you are donating food in the “Food Delivered” Category:

Go to the Donation Page as described in the General Donor Instructions. Under category, choose Food Delivered.

Please provide a complete description of the item you are donating (including size or quantity, and maybe ingredients). A photograph is not required but may be added as an enticement if you happen to have one.  If you are providing food for more than one winning bidder (such as 4 loaves of banana bread), don’t forget to enter the quantity in the space labeled Qty (in this case, 4).  However, if you are making and delivering one casserole which will feed six people, the Qty would be One.  The minimum bid would be for the entire casserole.

Food does not need to be prepared before the auction deadline and should not be brought to the church, unless you have arranged to meet the winning bidder there.  It should be available for delivery within one week after the auction unless you specify later delivery in your description.

After the auction:

Donors:   Please contact the buyer no more than three days after the auction to arrange for delivery of the food item. Donors should plan to deliver the item to the buyer’s home within a week after the auction or arrange to meet the buyer at another location. (If you are unable to do this for some reason, please contact the auction committee at for advice.
