An Intergalactic Perspective on Greed (Lessons from the Ferengi) – Rev. Chris Buice In the 1980s there was a slogan, “Greed is good.” It seems lately that this sentiment has become popular again. This week we will look at the self-destructive nature of greed with a little help from science fiction by exploring the religion of Quark and the alien culture known as the Ferengi from the television series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
