Smart people do stupid things. Intelligence can lead to overconfidence. Overconfidence can lead to fiascos. So who should we look to for role models as we endeavor to work for a world that is free and fair for everyone? This morning we will bypass the famous detective Sherlock Holmes and draw insights from his faithful sidekick Dr. John H. Watson. We will reflect on how the cause of social justice  might be best served by admitting when we are clueless.
