In America consumer mentality affects all aspects of life. Many of us have gone to the customer service counter of a store empowered by the maxim, “The customer is always right.” However, being a member of a Unitarian Universalist congregation is fundamentally different from being a consumer of commercial products. At TVUUC we are co-creators of our shared life together with profound spiritual, theological and material implications.
