It is reported that on the last full day of his life Jesus celebrated companionship and remembrance, but also suffered betrayal, disappointment and loss. In this service we will recognize this wide range of human emotions and experiences. We will use spoken word, song, a bread and grape juice/wine communion, and candle-lighting to acknowledge both the ancient story and the presence in our own lives of joy and sorrow, success and failure, friendship and abandonment.
