We associate secret agents with lies, dishonesty and subterfuge. Even so there is at least one secret agent who is better known for her spirituality. Noor Inayat Khan was a Sufi Muslim mystic who wrote a book of children’s stories based on stories of the Buddha in the Jataka Tales. When the Nazis invaded France she decided to join the resistance to stop the Holocaust of Jews. This Sunday we will explore how her spirituality can inform our own acts of resistance at this moment in history.
