Many people study theology and ethics to discern how to do the right thing. However, maybe we need to reverse the order. Maybe the way to live life is to do the right thing and let the theologians catch up. This service will draw on the wisdom and insights of the Quaker leader (and Unitarian sympathizer) Lucretia Mott who worked for women’s rights and the abolition of slavery in opposition to many learned theologians.
