TVUUC member Mike McDonough has recently written and published a book entitled, Why Is My City Called Knoxville?
His book describes the life and times of Henry Knox, answers the title question and takes readers on a tour of eight sites on the East coast with an historical connection to Henry Knox.
Mike will be our guest speaker at the Jan. 9 Alliance meeting. He will give a presentation with visual aids about the early years of Henry Knox, assisted by his editor and wife, Jayne Raparelli.
Mike will be available after our meeting to sign copies of his book. Cost is $10. Cash or check.
