There are many hymns in our hymnal that are more appropriate for the evening service than the morning – Again, As Evening Shadows Fall, When Darkness Nears, Joyful is the Dark etc. For this reason we will be holding a special evensong for after sunset to sing and reflect on the spiritual lessons that help us through times of darkness.
