Where is Monica Lewinsky?!

You don’t have to look far to see that we have a problem with violence against women in our society. In a service informed by his work with Carpet Bag Theatre to bring art-as-therapy to veterans, Umoja Abdul-Ahad will provoke thought and discussion about what it really means to be protected from violence, and where our responsibility to ensure the safety of our whole community fits into our spirituality.

Umoja Abdul-Ahad is a long-time member of the Muslim Community of Knoxville. Father of Four wonderful, loving, intelligent and funny adult children. Granddaddy to Six well-mannered and free-spirited young adults and a thoughtful, exuberant 4-year-old. Great-granddaddy to a year old witty, a great-grandson, and a great-granddaughter on the way, God willing.
