Outdoor Water Communion

We are going to experiment with an outdoor water communion. Bring your own folding chair and water from some place you spent time over the summer that has been special to you. This water may be from a lake, creek, ocean, garden hose or kitchen sink. For this service we will be making our land the communion bowl. As part of the service you will be invited to find a place on our land to pour the water. You may choose the community garden where vegetables have been growing that have been delivered to people in need during the pandemic. You may choose the memorial garden in memory of someone you love who is no longer living. You may choose the Welcome Garden or our many flowers in our parking lot islands. You may choose a favorite tree or bush. After the service, take some time to visit with friends. – Rev. Chris Buice
