To Labor is to Pray-In-Person and Virtual Worship

Activist Valarie Kaur argues that working for social change can be a painful process akin to the labor pains of a woman giving birth to a child. Kaur is from the Sikh religious tradition and her work for human rights has taken her into prisons, military detention centers and communities shattered by hate crimes. This Labor Day Sunday we will reflect on some of her insights that can inform our work in the world.
